Jimmer [or Jimma] would be a Norfolk pronunciation of Jimmy. You will find it thus spelt on Peter Bellamy's sleevenote to his Mainly Norfolk vinyl album, where he suggests that the sleeve pic shows "Jimma with his dog and his gun", from The Shooting Of His Dear.
