3. Do you have a favorite color? My mother said my color sense came out of a crayon box. However for clothing I go for safer bets, to save my adoring fans from eye-splitting headaches: solid blues, greens and black

4. Favorite authors/type of book? Folklore, fantasy, humor, storytelling, local-to-your-area

5. What books have you really been wanting? Usually old/obscure ones. Still looking for anything by Post Wheeler. Folklore/storytelling of all sorts, from juvenile to scholarly.

6. What type of music do you like? Folk (there's a surprise). I have a weakness for ballads. Local-to-you, banjo, fiddle. Middle Eastern is good too.

7. What CDs have you really been wanting? If you're in Canada, dear Santa, anything by Penny Lang. Come to think of it, most any Canadian performers, that aren't the current Big Names. Local-to-you stuff, wherever you are.

8. What movies have you been wanting? (specify VHS if you don't have a DVD player) DVD needs to be Area 1, VHS is fine. I'm looking for Downeast Smile-In by Marshall Dodge, Country Corners (about New England contra dancing), and Arcadia of My Youth (Japanese animation)

10. Do you collect anything? if so, what? I don't collect so much as accumulate things. Small is better in my cluttered home. I have everything from dragons to katchinas fucked in here and there.

11. What are some of your other hobbies? Cooking, fancywork (embroidery, cross stitch, latch hook), coloring, paint by number (similar relaxing therapy, without the needle, for those who can't draw), anime and manga (Japanese animation and graphic novels)
