Oh, Penny! It's one of those weekends, eh? The fall may have broken the bulb so check that before you replace the whole thing. I also have a camping lantern, a Coleman one that I use around the house every so often, not just when the power goes off. Sometimes I forget to take the laundry off the line before dark, for example. :)

I was going to sleep late this morning, but I woke at 6:30 anyway and decided to get started. I've been clearing space in my sun room by starting with the small refrigerator in there that didn't sell in the garage sale. I hadn't had time to clean it and I'm sure the mildew on the gasket was off-putting, but now it looks fine and is plugged in to see how well it works. Maybe I can keep my gardening things and seeds in there.

I wiped down and packed up a bluetooth phone I bought when I switched my house phone to a cell phone. Some of you may remember that I was going to put the cell phone next to this base and have a few wireless phones around the house tuned to it. That didn't work, and I never use this one, so it's going in eBay. I have all of the packing materials and the box, so I staged it for photos this morning, and I have a number of other items to list.

I'm hoping to keep being productive here, but Susie is doing a reception at her house today (and a memorial - the pastor from their church in Houston is flying up with a friend and will be there this afternoon, so she's pulling out all the stops to have the house looking good and the food ready). Yesterday I was up there a couple of times helping out, and won't be surprised if a "help!" call comes in at some point. Her house is so pretty - she is a retired art teacher, so she not only has a great decorating eye, she has made a lot of the things on the walls and tabletops. Don't we all wish for the day we can use our own art to decorate our homes? Reminds me that I could at least mount some of my photos on the walls here.
