I too love split pea soup ( my recipe involves a lot more than 10% pea) and dahls, and sprouts, and cabbage. I am in fact a complete omnivore. I eat things which make ordinary mortals spew at the thought, including wobbly bits of animals barely cooked. The fact that I can't stomach mushy peas will give those of you who haven't tried them an idea of just how repulsive they really are.Incidentally Scottish chippies also sell deep fried haggis which I quite like, needs plenty of brown sauce tho'.
