I'm listening to Anni & Dave right now on the Beggars Velvet CD (been listening to the tape since a friend saw them in DC in 1986 or '87 -- glad I finally have a CD!).

The concert -- performers and audience -- was grand. They always seem so surprised that we know most of the songs. But even though I own most of their recordings, each time I hear them in concert they sing new songs and not just the audience favorites. I 've heard them in house concerts over the past 4 years and their set lists are always different. Great performers and a real treat in an intimate venue.
