Oh, Miss Eiseley, I is jes' fahn, you know; aside from the occasional perplexity of the shadows of remembering the disconnection. The intimation of mortality was not news, of course, but it was more vivid than others I have had. But I am fine and it is most likely this syncopated falling will not recur.

This morning I drove down to the border again and tramped across TJ to my dental surgeon who says everything on the XRays is swell. In a few weeks I will go in for the implants porper--that is, the sockets that get implanted. Two of 'em. Six months for them to grow into place and the teeth go in and I am back to abttery. What a long ridiculous process.

Coming back the line was insanely long--shuffled down one street and up another to get to the gate in to the US. I am surprised they don't have a separate line for US citizens. It took a couple of hours to get across!!

Anyway, life marches on and a quiet Saturday afternoon was enjoyed by all.
