I cleaned out the pickup truck so riders to graduation tonight won't complain about being tucked in with boxes and bundles in the back seat. Susie is bringing Zeke down this afternoon to hang out with the girls in the back yard and keep him from being underfoot or taking advantage of unattended food during a party at her house tonight. She'll pick him up in the morning - this party is for employees of her son's business, and preparations have been complex. She builds the most amazing gingerbread houses, and today there are four crock pots going with different dishes for the party tonight. I'll be lucky if I manage to clear the kitchen table for anyone who might come over tonight. The counter is looking good, and I have materials for cookie baking set out for this weekend.
