What an evening, Mom!! We drove up the road to the Faculty Club and sat in on the 90th Birthday party for our beloved Harold, the physicist who became the vice-chancellor of the University here. We got to talk physics withDmitri Barsov, the sweet-tempered Russian who chairs the physics department, and meet a whole mess of very Distinguished Souls. And drink champagne and good red wine, and have a jolly time with their families as well. What a hoot. I am glad to be home again.
