Sorry AC I completely disagree. The battery in an iPad last a matter of hours, the battery in a Kindle lasts weeks, or months in my case. The Kindle is not backlit so you can read it anywhere you can read a book, even in direct sunlight. It is the nearest thing to reading a printed page that I have ever seen, with the text and background very 'book like'.
