I was a marksman some years ago. I once put two slugs thru a plywood target at 100m. One hole. Them Ruskies know how to build a shotgun. No, no scope... vent and bead.

Hehehee... Rap... I was waaay back on my 3wheeler. Beaver dam. Made it across about 100' with my knees on the seat. The old bikes could float. On the way back, about three hours later, the wind was strong. I drifted into the alders before getting to shore and the right rear wheel caught in. The bike lurched forward and I hit the shore in third gear. Arse over tea kettle. Bruised ribs. Cuts. Scrapes. BUT, far worse, my Baikal, still in the scabbard, was cracked at the pistol grip. I was nearly in tears. Got back to camp and taped my darlin up with duct tape. Took about 600 with the duct tape on her before I gave up huntin.
