You misread my first post. I was criticising the "God save Free America" ambience of the OP.

You misread my second post too - surely anywhere that can be grumpier than the mudcat merits respect even if not shock and awe.

"Should" is a word that shows we have an ethical system. I therefore approve of it. I approved of it in the 60s and I still do. I still protest and seek to change what in my view needs changing.
