Sorting through some old books recently, I came across a rather rude one that included a series of ethnic slurs under the heading of "What do they mean by safe sex in *******."

The entry for Scotland was:

"They brand the sheep that kick."

I don't think it's just the Scots, since a fellow once showed me his Teamsters contract that stated quite clearly that any trucker hauling sheep was required under the contract terms to have a co-driver on board. (The claim was that it was to protect the drivers against false accusations ... ... (or maybe it was rude jokes?). )
