Full-time folk-singer...my "day-job" is performing in a variety nursing homes, VA hospitals, etc... About 10-15 each week.

Good $$$, plus a constant warm feeling from bringing a little sunshine into people's lives...and the hours can't be beat - and it leaves me time to perform in the evening at restaurants, coffee-houses, book-stores, etc., which don't always pay all that well...

Best of all, I'm almost always at home in time to tuck my kids in!
