It's been overcast here in the mornings, then clearing off and in the 40s, but the radio just said we're supposed to have a bunch of snow in the mtns. with rain here in the valley.

We got up late this morning. Last night was quiet, but kind of wild. A bunch of sheriff's cars pulled up next door, very quietly, no lights, the officers slipping out and silently walking about the house. It was eerie. The neighbour's dogs never barked, no loud voices, cars or anything. One of our bedroom windows, the one by the head of the bed, faces their driveway, so I was a bit anxious. I was up and down, couldn't settle until about 3a. Have no idea what it was all about as the neighbours are all still here, their cars, dogs and all.

Anyway, not sure we'll get much done, today. I am still hoping for the new faucet. We need to clean up the kitchen. I told Rog it'd be a lot better to do that *after* installing the faucet.:-) I am also going to get his help in putting the clean clothes away, plus I have a couple more loads to do.

SRS, that's funny about the dogs. We finally convinced Luna to use Merlee's brand-new bed, bought it just before he passed. She wouldn't have a thing to do with it so we put it away. She doesn't seem to like soft things, but she is so hairy the covers I put on the couch were constantly needing to be changed. With the bed, I can take its cover off, wash it, and it's much better than before.
