I still haven't received any 'thank yous' from my two nieces or my neighbour's children for their Christmas presents. I was trained by my parents to write nice letters for presents received. Every year I vow not to give them any more presents, but each Christmas I relent. Do you think I'd be justified in stopping? It does hurt my feelings to be ignored like that.
