Kat, I got ahold of that tape yesterday after work and it is wonderful!!!! He doesn't sound 83....my uncles didn't sound no where near as good in their 70s....In fact your dad sounds alot like my uncles....they were larger than life men.....I miss them...I wish I had gotten around to doing an oral history with them, myself. Unfortunately, though, I always told myself I'd do it next time....Then, one year I realised there was no next time....and it never got done....they did love to talk about their lives....especially to the younger folks...It's a good thing you are doing it now... I won't be able to reimburse you until this Friday (day after payday), but I will be sending it...Take it easy.
