I replied carefully and politely outlining the reasons why we could not do so. If you can't remember them, then let me know and I will send them again - but by private message as this would not be a matter for a public forum.

I might also remind you that within the past year you have called me an "arse-licker" on this forum. Now, this was not mentioned when I took your name and request for a booking to both the festival committee and the club committee - but I remember thinking at the time that it was an odd way of trying to endear yourself to someone that you might want to book you.
