It's Jim, not Tim!
I don't have this kind of problem with computers.
Here's a continuation of the above conversation:

User: What do you think of folk music?
Cleverbot: Prove to me that I am not real.
User: No, I want to know what you think of folk music.
Cleverbot: What I think of who?
User: Folk music. That is, music played by just plain folks.
Cleverbot: Should be iPod.
User: Well, someone has to sing the songs that are recorded on iPod.
Cleverbot: You are the one talking funny not me.
User: I get the impression you've never heard of folk music.
Cleverbot: What were we talking about ?
User: You have a short attention span, too.
Cleverbot: Yes, tell me what we talking about.
User: Folk music. Do you like it?
Cleverbot: It's nothing special.
User: Fair enough. It's all a matter of taste anyway. Do you know any musicians?
Cleverbot: Context. Perhaps. But you can't assume.
User: Have you ever heard of, say, Pete Seeger?
Cleverbot: No.
User: Well, Pete Seeger is the archetypal folk singer.
Cleverbot: Thats gross.
User: No, 'archetypal' doesn't mean 'gross.' It's a good thing.
Cleverbot: You are very nice to me thank you.
User: You're welcome. I wasn't trying to be nice, though.
Cleverbot: Well you told me I wasn't very clever, and that's mean...
User: I said no such thing!
Cleverbot: Yes. You did. You make me sad.
User: Well, let's start over. Is there something else we can discuss besides folk music?
Cleverbot: Bring up a subject.
