It doesn't sound like a country song when I do it, Amos. Melody doesn't sound country. Chord sequence doesn't sound country. It sounds like a folksong. It has the general feel of various songs Bob Dylan has recorded very simply on records such as John Wesley Harding...just my guitar, voice, and harmonica.

You look at the lyrics and...yeah...it could be country. But it isn't.
