Darn it 'Hawk, I always thought that song was called "Moronic"!

Actually despite all the thread drift, I've learned a lot from this. Anytime you can get 10 or more Mudcatters posting at least one serious reply to something, a fascinating picture emerges.

By the way, I simply don't have the brains, perseverence or memory to do those little "emoticons" (that IS what they're called, right?) so I'll probably continue to be misunderstood at times.

I mentioned earlier that I "pick my spots" when being ironic or humourous. That of course means knowing who you're talking to. On Mudcat, you only know who you WERE talking to. If the next person who jumps in thinks yer brilliant dark humour is simply nasty, or racist, or sacreligious, or pornographic....yer up shit creek. We can't predict who the next person in is gonna be. Makes it interesting.
