I also had this record on a 78 from grandma, the cover of the record player fell down and smashed it circa 1960?. I remember that it had a purple Okeh label. I thought it was by Gene Autry but the Gene Autry museum assured me it was not. Thanks to Elizabeth and Spud for the additional words, all I could remember was the first line.
