Positive news...the Doctors have curtailed the spread of the cancer & the existing tumours are no larger...they've managed to press the clinical 'pause button'. (The operative word here is 'pause'.) In practical terms it gives The Family an opportunity to 'regroup' emotionally & consider what plans could be realistically made for the immediate future. The 'Big Picture' remains, but at least a significant part of that picture, has, for the time being, been modified in Jane's favour.
