Poach the eggs in soup.

A quick hurry-up meal for me is a can of soup (Campbells Chunky, etc.) simmering in a pot, with an egg broken into the soup. Poach to the degree desired.
If you use leftover home-made soup, so much the better.
Serve with buttered toast.
A carrot on the side to nibble.
