You know you have all my best but I'm sorry to see you guys go through this. Everyday it seems its something else......and that part I understand. I agree with Sins on the rehab. The "rules" on that end of things are really nuts so find a good caseworker (yeah, there are some) who can navigate all the ins and outs......and there will probably be plenty.

After that disastrous appendectomy last year, I had to be weaned off all the tubes and even had to learn to walk again. The rehab hospital had a really great caseworker who watched out all through the process and took care of stretching things out when the time was running out. The hospital did a great job for us and Linda, the caseworker, made sure as much as possible was covered and that all the bases of home care services/equipment were set up before I went home. After a month in the rehab hospital and three months of home health care to check the open belly wounds and the like, we came out with only $500. out of pocket.
