No Essex Wassails as far as I'm aware, apart from Duton Hill which is very recent. But then of the 160 wassail ceremonies in UK this year that I know about, quite a lot are no more than five years or so old.
As for chavettes ,you don't see many of them north of the A13, apart from some very old American models.
