I spent several hours this morning with some music friends. They'd asked me to keep them in mind for new material that they can add to their repetoire. I spent most of yesterday burning about 25 CD's for them to take home. We also went over another 100 songs from my archives.

I was 13 years old when Bill Higley took me under his wing and started teaching me his songs, as well as coaching me in performing skills. He gave me to undertand then, that in receiving this help, I was assuming a lifelong obligation to do the same to others ... to pass this music along.
