Actually DID have a bit of a rest this morning -- computerized at 6 a.m. while heating water for tea, then shower and hair wash and then after calling Tom, WOW! I got to just sit in bed, read, sip tea and pet cats until after 9 a.m.! Just started "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" that a friend loaned me Friday night. What a delight!

Anyway, finally had to tear myself away and get dressed to attack the day. Mostly phone calls so far. The hospital hasn't yet found Tom's dentures, but the report has been filed with Security and, if it comes to that, Tom's total expense for fitting and new dentures will be paid by the hospital. Left a few more messages for someone to get back to me about my employment status, such as when am I back on the schedule? Am I still about to be fired? Etcet...a hint would be nice. Also called Tom's primary care again to let him know what's up -- got a reminder call last night for an appointment tomorrow. Had a nice chat with the nurse. I have to get over there and do the paperwork and set up an appointment for myself, since I have no health insurance any more and my primary care has just decided to specialize in depression. Let's see, who else have I talked to this morning? More calls and things on the list, of course.
