Okay, took care of some business at the credit union and decided to stop by the town offices and let Marge and the others there know what's been up with Tom. Entering Nottingham from McCrillis Road onto Rte. 152, the sky looked ominous...then it started to hail. Before I pulled up to the parking lot, there were clumps -- clumps! -- of white falling amidst the hail. When I pulled up outside the town offices, it was more like sleet...but different. I've got damned near 63 years worth of experience between Wisconsin and Maine and New Hampshire and I've never seen quite what whatever that variety of precipitation was. And while I was talking to Marge, the sun came out. When I left, the sky was bright blue and the sun brilliant and warm. Right now it's gray and cold again. And it's still only early afternoon.
