Since I lost my voice I am very sensitive about no being heard in a group. Lack of manners has always gotten up my nose.
I told the dream to an old friend and he recognized himself as the young man. He knows he has a bad habit of interrupting.
He once said, "But if I don't say what I'm thinking, I forget what I was going to say."
I asked him this question, "So, what you are telling me is that what you want to say is more important than what is BEING said."?

That got his attention. If you took I and me out of the language, he would be mute.
