Took me awhile to get through to Tom this morning -- even had to call the nurses' station to find out if he was awake, etc. (at 9 a.m.). Finally did, though, and he seems to be doing much better this morning -- slept well last night.

I'm about to head over after picking up a couple chocolate glazed donuts for him.
