Just got home...from errands before work...work...calling Tom's doctors from work (while my coworker was there)...talking to Tom's nurse this afternoon and finding out what blood tests he had today (not the blood count which might show a possible infection, though, until tomorrow morning...going to visit Tom...
Fortunately the work day itself wasn't that demanding, for a change, so I hope my co-worker doesn't feel guilty about going home sick. She stayed while I needed to make phone calls from the doctor's office and I really, really appreciate that.

Hungry, too -- but just heated up some heat-'n'serve pot stickers (faked a dipping sauce) and a piece of fish from last week (vehicle for my tartar sauce which qualifies as a vegetable).
