The fonts have to translate to the other people's computers. I'm pretty sure most Windows users have Comic Sans, but do Macs translate it? Does Linus? (or Lucy or Charlie Brown or Schroeder, for that matter). If I have a really serious computer, it probably won't understand "comic" anything.
