Well, Mandoman, we'll try to put up with your absence. Nice of you to come up with such an extraordinary condemnation of all of our music - I have never been accused of a lack of inspiration or musicianship before, but I'll take it on board and if our paths ever cross (which sounds unlikely) I'll be intrigued to hear whose music you DO rate. As the entire event is a fund raiser and none of us are getting paid for it, and as we're fund raising to try to get the folk music club scene healthier and more thriving, it's good to know there are critics like you around to bring us all down to earth with a bump.   I'll rate your own commitment by the fact that you can't be bothered to join Mudcat or use your real name. Now - who IS going to come? Because it's going to be a cracking night, with some brilliant songs (not just mine), some first rate singers and musicians and quite a lot of humour, too.
