A vest (we call 'em waistcoats or "weskit" over here in the UK) is an absolute must for carrying a pocket watch. I have a brushed velvet one that I bought many years ago - many years as testified by the enlarged gap between the buttons and the buttonholes! - and a nice suede one.

A good, matching chain is also nice. The size watches I have - mainly 16s - and the casings really demand a nice chunky link size. I'm scouring eBay at the moment - picked up a couple recently and have another in my sights at the moment.

Sigh... will this madness never end... :-)
