Thanks, Rapparee for admitting that you didn't kill my phantasmal character, Chongo Chimp. I think it very unfair when people claim to have killed a phantasm which I created. I mean, look, how could they? By what means? It would be like saying you had killed Popeye or Bugs Bunny or Sherlock Holmes. It just doesn't compute. Only the author can kill the character...and sometimes the public won't even allow THAT to happen. (As in the case of Sherlock Holmes, whom Conan Doyle had killed off by plunging him into a mountain abyss with Professor Moriarty. Conan Doyle was forced by massive public pressure to resurrect him...or face the fury of an enraged readership. He gave in, and Holmes returned in the next tale.)
