I see that, as in most culinary delights, scholars differ bicker. Not having a meat grinder, I must buy ground meat...or commercial burgers. Wendy's or Burger King is preferred..(using the aforementioned coupons)...but in times of great need, and being from Kansas, where tastebuds are considered a hindrance, I will turn off receptors and scarf down a McD..

Having a wife who must watch cholesterol, we buy lean ground beef. Because of warnings about E-coli, we cook them past 'rare' ...which I prefer anyway -(being from Kansas, where we see how cattle are raised and slaughtered).

I suppose all youse gourmet types would not care for my flat, cooked-past-pink, 90+%lean, covered in mustard, ketchup,(or BBQ sauce), Bread&Butter pickle (not dill) and sometimes lettuce.

Ah well....
