Beautiful piece, Megan, absolutely beautiful.

          We're all out here Kat, keeping watch, listening to You...listening to each other; praying, thinking, meditating, doing what we each do in our intercessions. I firmly believe that within us all is an untouchable, incorruptible 'essence of self' (Perhaps that's what people mean when they talk about 'Soul'). It's the complete You, secreted away, protected from everything Life can inflict, safe & inviolate. When the time is right, it will blossom & restore You. Your energies will return & you'll be ready to re-take your rightful place in the World. These are not metaphorical ramblings...metaphorical, yes, but taken directly from my own experience, following some deeply troubling times I endured some years ago.
