Mom, I was so glad to hear from Shame yesterday! I thought he was dead, but I suppose that he was simply laying drunk in a gutter again. I do hope the street-sweeping machine didn't cause him more than mild bruising and that he wasn't harmed much when he was placed in the landfill with the rest of the trash.
