Did I say "all" thinking people? That'll be a "no".

Keith, let me break it to you - you are further to the right in your political postings here than any person bar one I know in real life. Your political postings here are to the right of his. You appear to be well to the right of the current crop of conservatives, well to the right of the 1922 committee, and in many respects somewhere near UKIP - I accept your assertions that you reject certain other unmentionable right-wing parties even though you do seem to support some of their expressed policies for example on immigration and the relative merits of religions and the alleged health hazards of sexual orientation (or was that our resident Egyptian God-King?).

There appear to be several UK posters who accept and desire the top-down policies of the present government and reject all previous attempts to achieve justice for as many as possible. Some of these, ironically, are amongst those most harmed by conservative dogma and limitations on the national health.

There appear to be several US based posters who buy into the exploitative aspirations of rich republicans and some who seem to have been hoodwinked into militating against their own betterment.

Some of both seem to support Anglo-US colonialist militarism.

There are a number of music posters who militate against the ethos of the site in that they assert that folk music does not exist.

All in all, these things make this site a far less pleasant place to be - and I have had a number of others make similar points to me in real life.

I know of only one person who (some time back) ceased to visit because of left-leaning haranguing: he posted of his holiday intentions in Cyprus and got jumped on for supporting an unacceptable regime. I forget which of the two unacceptable regimes it was - the theocrats from the east or the Greek junta.
