PDG, you have a swing out dust proof case, yes pull up on the stem, it will release the mechanism fully and you pull the movement up to see the serial number.   don't be afraid to pull it, sometimes they stick a bit, don't torque it just a straight pull. Likewise swing it back, press down the stem
