There was a Brum band called City Boy. a bit like 10cc.

Pat Travers supported SAHB. Zappa was still on the road. I used to work with a guy called brian Crane, who had been in a band called paper Bubble - folk rock a bit like the Strawbs.

There also the Steve Gibbons/Ricky Cool and the Icebergs crowd around Moseley and Nic Toczek's band Ulterior Motives and Mobile Workshop.
