While dog walking this morning I shouted a greeting to a neighbor, told him his grill smell wonderful (he was loading it with something as I walked past). "You're welcome to join us!" he said - I'm tempted. I don't know when they eat, but probably for lunch. I could take up a few tomatoes as an offering. It's nice to be asked!

I'll probably stay here though, hang out with the dogs and do some more puttering. I've enjoyed these days off.
