Forgot to mention how great it was to see Ron Bankley looking fit on Friday as well as enjoying his guitar work! And Luc's also.

SRS: the time/energy thing - sometimes I have time but no energy OR no energy for the specific task. A lot of times, I cast about looking for something for which I do have the energy so I can at least get Something Done! And getting something done can lead to...

As in: looking for something that gave me the address I needed for the citizenship app, led to decluttering the "store room" and the computer to some degree. Found it!! Almost ready to print and mail!

Glaze firing is happening! Now if only I get good stuff out of it; I did a few untried combinations of glazes. I am hoping for good surprises - late tonight or very early morning.

mg comes up with good ideas! However, the almost immovable BIG kiln needs to get to the city and be put on Kijiji. There won't be any hits a way out here. And I Really want to put the newer small kiln there. I tried really hard to figure a way to move it into a place where I could plug it in but if is slipped and I injured it!!! I can hear someone ask, "What about injuring me?" I've always been pretty good at not doing that.

I also did some more organizing in the studio before I started firings. Cannot go in there during. May have another glaze load to fire on Monday. But will try to throw some first. Hope to fill the kiln for another bisque firing before next weekend. Possible if energy holds. That is why it is good for me to have a small kiln. It is not so daunting to fill.

Made black bean salsa yesterday: it is so difficult! Put two cups of beans in slow cooker til soft, cool, throw in a quantity of salsa and put through blender.   Had it on lettuce for lunch with a bit of grated cheese. Yum.

Now: See if kiln is done, feed animals, start another gallon of water in the distiller. And go hear the Steve Barry Blues Band! Come home and load car for tomorrow - farmers market and check the kiln, hopefully.
