The concert was phenomenal. I'm glad they started at 8... or 8-ish. The open mic guys can go every Friday, but this line-up was something special. I came home with ideas about digging up some ground for a garden, although this year it will likely be annuals holding space for veggies next year. It's been so miserably hot here that I haven't moved much since I've been back home, and dizzy on occasion.

And there were brakes to get fixed before I went up (which cost $$), and the "service engine soon" light on the way home meant I got all of the original 10-year-old spark plugs replaced (more $$). THEN, my midsummer oil delivery happened on Wednesday: more $$, but not as much as winter oil.

I also saw Stormin' Norman, brother of Beer, who's working on a new CD, which sounds like it will be excellent. He has one of those Pickmaster dealies, and gave me a few credit card plectrums. I can't find them now. This leads me to conclude that, whether it was purchased legitimately, found, stolen, or gifted, it is a defining characteristic of a plectrum that it should get lost. Somebody should make little GPS chips for picks. There should be an app for that.
