Estate boxes: DONE. Big thanks to the friend who kept me company on the fone today, as I worked.

Just an inventory remains on my laptop, describing items yet to research for estate-valuation purposes AFTER vacay. In addition to that inventory/internet research, some items are still boxed and will be stored awaiting the opinions of dealers who come for the annual Oct. parish antique sale.

One of my favorite things about this was hearing Mom's voice minimizing the importance of the STUFF and emphasizing the people and relationships. A number of nice but low-value items went to the annual August thrift shop yard sale, for which items had already begun to accumulate in the parish hall.

I am very pleased with all the little pass-alongs I implemented thru this, esp. to close family and friends who helped me with the STUFF.

There were also a surprising number of items missed by the sibs who'd packed all this for me to go through, that I am pretty sure they would have wanted to keep. Those boxes also are ready to ship before we leave on vacay next week.

Thanks, Mom. I was very aware in all this of whose daughter I am.
