Too hot to breathe, think or anything else. Accept I will not have more pots for Saturday or the brown sugar moisteners. Actually, it is the humidity. A pot of green tea did not help nor did the pot of red clover tea. But we did have some good rain most of the aft as well as yesterday and Sunday. Need a few more days of it but does not appear in the forecast.

Michelle's energy/activities are incredible!!

Sunday night we "rescued" a disoriented, wobbly, hungry young raccoon from the middle of the road about 10 pm. Gave her a bottle on my lap and put her in isolation cage in case of illness. Last night I drove up to the area about 10 pm and saw a mom and 3 kits crossing the road. So tonight I am going to take her back to the area and hope she can re-unite with mom and the sibs. HOPE! She is too young to survive alone.

Laundry has buit up so yesterday I made a list of errands for the city and drove in to do laundry and other things. Off loaded and got one load in machine before returning to car to go shop, just in time to see a Quebec Hydro (electric) worker going to house. Gee! No one had paid the bill since last July so there went the electric, the laundry, the frig, the phone, the.... And the errands. R and I went out to eat and I came back to the country where I can do things. I phoned a while ago and it might be back on. I'll call again later and try again tomorrow. So much for a well-organized life!

I thought it a good idea to go to the city because the car is air conditioned! Today would have been better but tomorrow will still be hot. I realize it is much hotter in other parts of the world but I am melting just sitting here. I did go shopping and washed the fruit I bought.

Oh yeah, the hand washing I did on Monday hs been well rinsed and is still very wet! I brought in some underwear to put near the water heater. It is in the Bathroom and I keep the door closed and the window open to keep it from heating the rest of the house.

The weekend was busy with the CD launch on Sunday a terrific event.

Not a terrifically productive week so far but hope for the laundry tomorrow and maybe make some pots in the morning before I leave.

Now to try to re-store Wobbly to her mom.
