That's all too painful to read. Let's have another round before the boat sails off!

Every festival we are interested in maintaining has to have a local committee that starts early and hangs in there till the end, and then thanks everyone profusely. You can't count on the Council or their staff to do that work right. You can't count of the business community to do that work right. They'll fuck it up and the sad thing is that they won't even realize what they are doing until it is too late.
