This was one of those mornings that began with putting stuff away. Laundry, bills into files, did some shredding, etc. I'll cut up veggies for the freezer and see about reducing the amount of stuff in the fridge. Lots of containers of stuff that should be cooked or frozen.
It's Friday - that's always welcome! Unfortunately, it is supposed to be getting hotter over the weekend so I'll have to be up and out very early if I want to do much yard work. Yesterday evening I took the electric trimmer to the front and knocked the heads off of the dallis grass that is a weed in the turf--it grows faster than everything around it. One of these days I'll have to chop it out.
I tried changing out a line from the new antenna to the computer - that line isn't as good as the one to the TV in the living room. I pulled a new line through so that there is just one line between the two, and it's still kind of broken up on some channels. I need to swap the cables on the splitter to see if that makes a difference, and if not, pull another chunk of cable. I removed the piece from the attic (that didn't reach all of the way to the splitter) to the wall plug and pulled through a long piece that I'd used in the attic (from the splitter to the piece in the wall). I'd used the long piece in the attic because I didn't have a short one handy, but that way there was an extra connection in the line. Each connection can reduce quality, so I simply used the longer piece from upstairs to remove a connection. However, if the problem is in the cable itself then I'll have to drag some more through. It takes longer to describe it than it takes to do it (you simply attach the cable and pull, you don't have to drill new holes or do anything fancy or complicated.)
