In my experience the "Top" of field 1 is usually fairly stable apart from where the trucks and 4x4s have churned it up. For several years I have been able to get my tent up against the top hedge and have stayed fairly comfortable within it.

The getting about the field, as has been said, can be very difficult if there is any sort of wetness about.

Hope for the best but plan for the worst!
