I shouldn't think a school would want it - it is old fashioned, hence the problem. And I live up a cul-de-sac, so passing trade is unlikely. So unlikely, that when, yesterday afternoon, I accidentally left my garage open, and the car hatch open (I had got distracted watering the hanging basket on my way in), nothing was taken! I didn't find out what I'd done until this morning, so it was open all night. And no-one rang my bell to let me know, either. (My neighbour had some gardening tools taken from his van the other week when a window was left undone, so I was very lucky. Also, I suspect that it's against the local rules. I am going to do that with some flower pots, though.

The room is very frustrating. At the last place, a similar room was wide enough to take a folding bed opened out across it, under the window, which made it look much more spacious. This one is JUST too narrow for that. And the wardrobe is too wide to fit along the wall with the bed. Although it really has to be the room that takes the stuff that would be in a loft, I want it to look like a bedroom. I'll just have to make do. I really don't want to break the thing up. (I can still store stuff in it. And on it, stacked up to the ceiling.) Ho hum.
